Berufserfahrung von Rodion Kalistsuk

  • Current 6 years and 3 months, since Mar 2020

    Sr. R&D/ Product Development Engineer

    TE Connectivity

In addition to previous tasks: - leading a small team of simulation engineers - managing a wider group of people who are a part of a Simulation Hub - Development and execution of: - system simulations for coupling electro-magnetics with mechanics (ANSYS Twin Builder) - rigid body dynamics with flexible parts for FMU generation (ANSYS Workbench) - computational optimization (ANSYS optiSLang)

  • 3 years and 10 months, Jun 2016 - Mar 2020

    R&D/ Product Development Engineer

    TE Connectivity

Development and execution of: - non-linear static / dynamic structural simulations (ANSYS Workbench) - fatigue evaluation (Excel) - non-linear static / dynamic electro-magnetic simulations (ANSYS Maxwell) - electro-thermal analysis (ANSYS Workbench) - forming simulations using adaptive meshing (ANSYS Workbench)

  • 7 months, Sep 2015 - Mar 2016

    Master Thesis

    Robert Bosch GmbH (Schwieberdingen, Germany)

Simulation of assembly process of electric fuel pump using non-linear finite element analysis. Work consists of setting up an efficient and robust simulation model, that includes non-linear contact, large deformations and non-linear material behaviour. Furthermore, a simulation guide is created, that describes all optimal simulation settings. All simulations are performed using ANSYS v16.2.

  • 3 months, May 2015 - Jul 2015

    FEA Simulation Engineer

    Robert Bosch GmbH (Schwieberdingen, Germany)

Performance of several complex static structural simulation series, involving highly non-linear analysis setups (frictional contact, large deformations, non-linear material behaviour). All simulations are performed using ANSYS v16.2.

  • 1 year and 2 months, Mar 2014 - Apr 2015

    Student Research Assistant (HiWi)

Universität Stuttgart, Institut für Werkstoffe im Bauwesen (Germany, Stuttgart)

Experimental and Numerical analysis of anchorage in masonry units. Research work involves use of in-house developed FEM solver (MASA) and FEMAP for pre- and post-processing.

  • 2 years, Sep 2011 - Aug 2013

    Mechanical Design Engineer

Värv Ja Seadmed OÜ (Estonia, Tallinn)

Design, development and production management of painting and abrasive cleaning chambers and necessary equipment. Work involved dealing with pneumatics, ventilation, heating and high precision tools (i.e. engines, vacuum pumps).

  • 5 months, May 2011 - Sep 2011

    Mechanical Engineering Technician

    KXM OÜ (Estonia, Tallinn)

Making technical drawings for production of conveyings lines, pipelines or large storage tanks (i.e. 25000 m3) for water, oil, gas or chemical goods.

  • 2 months, Feb 2011 - Mar 2011

    Internship

    Metos AS (Estonia, Tallinn)

Making sheet metal 3D models for production of kitchen equipment from stainless steel.
