Platform BLDC motor for construction tools

Coordinating activities between Design, Structural calculations, Secondary Air Systems, Heat transfer, Manufacture and consulting companies for the R&D of new Industrial Gas Turbine

Worked in the department of Gas Turbines Engines Research and Development; for industrial applications with a power range of 6-12 MW. Within my position work scope are the Shafts, Disks with geared couplings, Blades and Vanes from the Compressor to the Turbine Section.

Working with the Low Pressure Turbine team I was responsible of the seals, structures and rotating hardware in Turbo Shaft/Prop engines across their life cycle stages such as New Product Introduction, Manufacturing support, Field support and Cost reduction projects. My responsibilities included evaluation of Stress analysis, GD&T, Bolted joint, HCF, LCF, Fatigue, Creep, and Aerolasticity to assure the compliance with the company design practices.

Subjects included: Bearing Design; Computer Aided Engineering; Stress Analysis of Machine Components; Management of Technology; Rotor Dynamics; Noise, Vibrations and Machine Diagnosis; Fatigue and Fracture; Gear Design.

Main subjects included Mechanical design, Electronic, Control and Management. Thesis: Mechanical Design of a milk sterilization machine.
