Color correction, color proofing (Matchprint and Verification), digital photo inspection, masking and retouching of client’s raster images (Louis Vuitton) using Photoshop CS3. Color matching of client Pantone color picks to match various press color capabilities.

Creative graphic design and layout of newspaper section cover pages — Page 1 news covers, special news feature packages, lifestyle covers and sports covers. Creation of photo illustrations, locator maps, info-graphics on hot daily deadlines. Design and creation of graphics, and digital photos optimized for captimes.com web site. Acted as Graphics Editor when Graphics Editor was absent or on vacation (5 weeks per year). Daily photo color correction, image repair (Photoshop).

Design and layout of clients’ advertising for catalog pages. Pre-flighting of electronic files, proofreading, pagination, and print production of four-color catalog pages. Attended catalog press checks to sign off on print approvals (color) at Quad Graphics, Lomira, WI. Creative Art Direction and concept for catalog cover illustrations created by professional illustrators, for a catalog of professional graphics software and stock digital images. Created the final editions solo as freelance Designer.
