I provide legal advice to the executive management across all areas of Eli Lilly activity in over 40 countries across Africa and the Middle/East/Gulf. This includes: Advising on a diversity of issues throughout lifecycles of strategy, transactions, business development and litigation, in alignment with company vision and priorities.

Promoted from Legal Counsel to Head of Legal to establish, develop and manage a legal team for 21 countries across Europe.

I advised on a multiplicity of commercial agreements, including distribution, co-promotion, co-marketing and divestment. Another aspect of my role was to secure compliance with competition and anti-bribery laws. I developed and reviewed policies, managed data protection programmes and provided guidance in relation to adverts and sponserships.

I advised a variety of high profile clients from the healthcare and food industries. I ensured compliant product marketing in line with competition laws and protected client IP, including trademarks and patents.
