Topic: From Real-Time Multivariate Signals to Interventional Images - A Novel Approach - Implemented a multi-sensoric signal acquisition system for tissue differentiation - Used Internet-of-Things concepts for the medical domain to create an end product prototype - Performed signal processing analysis on sensor data - Proved the concept of differentiating tissues by creating a novel visualization composed of signal data represented as scaled colors

- Worked in the Fullwood group at NUS CSI - Performed Bioinformatics analysis on RNA Seq data obtained from a variety of adult human tissues - Created an automated analysis pipeline using Perl and Python - Interesting splice junctions were further investigated using the ZENBU genome browser to look for 3D chromatin interactions

- Performed image registration of CT and MRI data using pre-existing scripts - Generated image masks for morphological analysis

- Carried out basic wet lab procedures like PCR, immunohistochemistry and cryosectioning - Received training in handling laboratory animals like mice - Performed micro-surgeries and harvested spinal cords
