I created proformas and a financial modell to valuate companies for M&A. Hereby I developed a fully automated Excel-template based on the discounted Cash Flow model.

As Division RIC (Risk& Int. Control) Mgr. I led the Division Tester Team to ensure compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and to perform the internal audit. As Assistant Controller I analyzed and developed measures to control specific SG&A accounts (e.g. IT expenditures). I was working on forecasting, annual planning and monthly closing as well as financial reporting . I worked with SAP R/3, but also developed numerous applications in Excel VBA.

As Techno-Commercial Consultant in the Bombay branch I delivered presentations to decision makers at the customer site and provided detailed answers to support the decision making process. I mapped our software products as per customer’s requirements, studied the requirements and existing systems and worked in close coordination with the product development team for them to design customized products. I also led the Service Engineer Teams to oversee the troubleshooting process.

Developed a medium-risk model portfolio for customers, who wished for international diversification, bas-ed on Markowitz Portfolio Theory and adjusted it for individual clients through interviews. This portfolio outperformed the benchmark by 1.3% within 3 months.
