Leading the R&D, developing a long-duration electrochemical energy storage system based on an iron redox flow battery. Supporting engineering efforts of scaling up and escorting the full scale-up process from lab to full commercial-scale facility. Coordinated and communicated with project, product, commercial, and procurement teams. In under 6 months, we doubled the power, increased capacity by 25%, reduced material costs by 30%, and created a configuration that allows the design capacity to be modulated.

Headed electrochemistry and energy storage research and development efforts. Research project and lab manager. Researching and developing new materials and processes for advanced solar cells and batteries. Slurry/paste/ink formulation and testing. Coating and printing tests. Product development and adjustment to project requirements, including device testing. Scaling up lab-bench processes to pilot scale. Provided technical due diligence and strategic evaluation for venture investments.

Built and managed the R&D lab, including 12 researchers working on new materials and processes for fast charging lithium-ion batteries. Supported scale-up and pilot line design and building for in-house pouch production. Working with OEMs for technology transfer and collaboration.

Research with Prof. Hodes and Prof. Cahen on Extremely Thin Absorbers and Organic-Inorganic Metal Halide Perovskite solar cells. Guiding and mentoring master's and PhD students in their research projects. Coordinator of the Helmsley PV – Technion-Weizmann research consortium.

Working with Prof. Segalman (UCB) and Dr, Urban (LBNL) on self-assembly of nanoparticles in rod-coil block copolymers for photovoltaic applications. Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles, polymers, block-copolymers and hybrids. Running a collaborative research project on single molecules PV.

In charge of half of the thin film deposition and etching process line (PVD, CVD, PE-CVD, ion implantation, ion-beam etcher, plasma asher etc.) for R&D and fabrication of III-V, II-VI , IR-PV and IR-LASER diode. DOE, SPC, and leading the DFSS engineering team. Clean room proficient.
