Handiscover.com is the first community-based Holiday accommodation-booking website, dedicated to people with special needs and disabilities. I was responsible for growing the UK market and helping onboard new property managers. The management of UK properties on the website, and continual client relations with property managers. Converting bookings/sales. Dealing with customers on Zendesk.

I was in charge of all business development globally, talking at C and Director level, to ultimately acquire new clients for the company. I liaised monthly with existing clients, at high level, to ensure smooth account management and to address any issues proactively. I was also responsible for driving marketing and PR campaigns via our Marketing department, to generate incoming leads.

At Pierpoint BPO I was employed as an Account Manager, recruiting for companies such as Bombardier, Ebay, HP, Media Markt and Siemens. I was also involved in business development for the company, for both Recruitment and Lead Generation. This involved cold calling CXOs to engage in business discussions.

Making outbound market research calls, to secure interviews for business and consumer studies. I was interviewing for Disney, IBM and Bosch.

Working on the Hotels4u contract I was the English point-of-contact in the office. Dealing with all the hotel bookings, complaints, administration and telephone queries.

Originally employed as a Salesperson, I was then promoted to Customer Services Manager. Working in a large Call Centre I dealt with customer queries by telephone and email, general office administration and customer complaints. I was in charge of a team of 3 people.

I worked at Greggs part time in the Personnel department. I was employed originally as an administrator but was then asked to undertake production of their Company Newsletter.
