Responsible for maximizing cost recovery under Production Sharing Agreement signed with the government of Chad. the job involves explaining and detailing all activities of the company to government-assigned auditors enabling recovery of costs. This will invlove interaction in all phases of the project from planning to drilling to production to sale of crude and finally the ultimate recovery of related costs.

- Managing the finance activities covering the company’s line of business (supply of guards, Cash transportation, and sale, installation, and commissioning of security systems). - Ensuring the smooth flow of cash - Protecting company’s assets and manpower through suitable insurance plans. - Prepare capex / opex budgets in accordance with group guidelines. - Coordinate with sales future activities, target customers, and market penetration

- Directing and managing the short and long term finance activities covering the company’s oil field services line of business. - Ensuring the smooth flow of cash . - Reporting on various activities and plans to Germany-based HQ. - Developing and organizing the annual budgeting process, and subsequent reviews. - Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes – Oxley act

- Directing the commercial, administration, logistics, and finance activities covering the company’s perfume and luxury items line of business for the Gulf and Levant regions. - Establishing and maintaining the organization’s accounting, operating, and administration personnel, policies, plans, practices and procedures. - Management of entire purchasing cycle from bidding to delivery of products to customers. - Development of distribution strategy and pricing policy

- Plan and set-up Mobile Telecom Networks commercial project structure, delivery phases, and follow up till ready-to-air covering MENA region. - Project supply chain management and financial reporting using SAP. - Draft project documentation defining objectives, scope, schedule of delivery, Payment terms, arbitration, etc… - Source, negotiate with, and select 3rd party vendors (and their alternates) of peripheral equipment, services, and man-power. - Develop and refine performance matrix

- Supervised and coordinated the monthly invoicing of Crude Oil (worth US$0.6 Billion annually) as per PSA and JV contracts. - System administrator and focal point for implementation, data migration, training, performance monitoring, and user support of SUN SYTEMS, the accounting system of Shell Syria, and related reporting SW solutions (Business Objects). - Calculation and declaration of corporate income tax & subsequent negotiations with tax authorities and the JV partners.
