The objective of the doctoral thesis was the design, development and biological evaluation of novel GluN2B antagonists for the NMDA receptor. These antagonists are targeted towards the therapeutic area of Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy and similar neurological conditions. The doctoral work was concluded successfully in Feb. 2015.

Working as an analytical scientist, responsible and participated actively in performing daily analysis conforming to GMP requirements. Part of the Stability Studies Group at Novartis Global R&D Centre at Thane. Role included performing experiments on assay, impurity content, dissolution studies, physical tests etc as well as responsibility of individual projects.
