EdFirst Group was created to provide consulting services to the financial aid industry. The Group provided exclusive services to a single client for three years. Professional services included: •Activity based costing •Corporate governance/Sarbanes-Oxley assessments •Executive dashboard and performance management •Board of Director committee charter reviews and revisions •Risk Management Program implementation assistance •Compliance assessments •Policy development assistance

Professional consulting services provided to the student aid industry as part of the KPMG LLP Advisory Services Group. Key accomplishments included: •State-of-the-art professional service proposals prepared and presented to senior executives. •Successful execution and management of a $3 million engagement for a key client, resulting in promotion to Senior Manager. •Powerful multi-media presentations delivered to senior executives at various industry conferences.

As Director of the Loan Guarantee Program, responsibilities included overseeing the financial, customer service, policy, training, and operational activities for one of the oldest guaranty agencies in the country. Specific accomplishments included: •Implementation of six new system applications. •Development of long-range goals and objectives. •Led a corporate strategic planning plan for business process re-engineering and restructuring.

Responsibilities included: • Communicating aid eligibility information to thousands of students and families in one-on-one appointments and to large groups. •Determining eligibility and packaging awards. •Primary counselor for athletes and medical students. •Primary counselor for selecting recipients for academic and endowed scholarships.
