IC3 Sr. System Engineer in the Engineered Systems team under product development and infrastructure LOB.Creating automation scripts/tools for deployment and monitoring of the Exa infrastructure and maintain the code using CI/CD platform. Providing solution and support to the internal dev team and customers as a L3 engineer. Strong Linux troubleshooting and RCA skills. Working on Daily Incidents based on operating system Linux, Solaris and AIX. Change management and handling of Linux VM's as well as physical servers. Upgrading firmware on Linux servers. Managing (adding /removing) disks and partitions (LVM), Power path. Increasing file system in mirrored environment, LVM. Logging case with vendors (HP, Oracle, Symantec, etc.) Performing failover, failback in cluster environment (Veritas Cluster) Managing backup and restores. (Tivoli Backup)
