Ingres Corp is the world's leading provider of business open source services & solutions for companies of all sizes. Ingres Corp was formed as a partnership between CA and Garnett & Helfrich Capital in Nov/Dec 2005. As a result, I joined Ingres Corp as "Manager, EMEA Customer Support" responsible for the EMEA support team assisting hunderts of customers in the whole EMEA region. As such I was strongly involved in building the worldwide Support team and organization.

Joined CA as a Technical Consultant for Ingres products & was member of the Support team assisting hunderts of clients in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. In Feb 2001 started to lead & manage the German Ingres team as 'Manager, Customer Support'. Due to a global reorganization at CA in Apr 2004, became "Product Manager" for Ingres products responsible for a team of 20 consultants in UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium & South Africa. In Apr 2005 changed to "Manager, EMEA Customer Support".

UCI was a subsidiary of RWE, one of the biggest power supplier in Europe, and Lahmeyer International, a global Engineering consulting player. UCI and Siemens KWU built a consortium to design and develop RDBMS based applications for work & load management in power plants of Preussen Elektra (now E.ON) in Germany. These applications are still in use :-).

SMS (Shared Medical Systems) Corporation was one of the worldwide market leader in developing and implementing of medical and patient management software for hospitals. I joined SMS Germany in April 1989 and worked together in a programer team responisble for product customization and implementation of the SMS patient management system in many hospitals in Germany.
