Back to Volvo in Germany to focus on DMS Rollout and local support with global knowledge.

According to VPS4IT (Lean Management) I'm the Team leader for the Volvo IT AOM Team (10 persons) and secondary responsible for the affiliated AOM Teams in the different regions. In total we have 26 AOM Team members in different teams placed in different countries arround the world. Within this function I'm responsible for for the planning, organizing, reporting and follow up of the assignment in accordance to the maintenance charter and Service Level Agreement for the main Volvo Truck dealer application.

As member of the Global AOM Team I have relized some global projects according to the ISGDP 4IT Project rules. I've also prepared guidlines and coordinated other important projects with all other AOM Teams arround the world. I've done Maintenance Release installations and helped to create the instructions in teamwork with the colleagues within AOM and from the Application Delivery Team.

I've done almost everything to support all needs in realation to the IT Support for the Volvo Truck Workshops in Austria. Mainly this was work related to the Dealer Management System, but also in relation to network setup, printer setup within the network and on the iSeries. At the same time I started to be an AOM Team Member within the Gobal team but as Member for Region Central.

I've started to work in the 1st level helpdesk for all Dealers in Region Central who worked with the Volvo Trucks DMS. I went on to do 2nd Level Support and later on I did the rollout for this DMS named GDS. At that time all the local applciations has been converted to the central application named GDS. Therefore it was good to do a GAP Analysis to find out the dealers need and to setup the Parameters accordingly.
