Six Sigma Black Belt with experience leading projects in Engineering, Manufacturing and Warranty Second ex-pat assignment to USA based at CTT new manufacturing plant which opened in 2007. Led and managed improvement projects as assigned by champions/sponsors on a full time basis. Coached team members on the improvement process and corresponding quality tools. Two projects closed during assignment had agreed savings of $1M. Qualified as a TS16949 auditor.

Managed the production test facilities for two manufacturing plants Supervised 3 teams over 3 shift to ensure 24/7 running to meet customer demands. Ensured that conflicting test priories were resolved and met from various customers including 2 manufacturing plants, engineering, prototype, supplier and customer quality functions. Managed major improvements in the test cell areas to improve working conditions. Identified and implemented improvements in testing processes to increase throughput.

Worked in the Technology department in the Worldwide Technical Centre. Responsible for supporting the development and application of acoustic and vibration measurement procedures and methods to characterise performance aspects of turbochargers. Conducting work programs in support of RPS, NPI and PPT projects liasing with local and international customers both internal and external. Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt Certified.

Acted as an acoustic expert to the design department and other company departments Design responsibility for complete projects including aero-engine test cells, gas turbine packages aircraft ground running facilities Researched and wrote methods for the acoustic design of silencers, enclosures and barriers to enable quicker design time, many of the methods being incorporated into computer programs Planned, implemented and reported all noise surveys for the company.

Covered multiple engineering subjects, including noise, acoustics, vibrations, electronics mathematics, digital signal theory. Third year spent working for MOD as part of specialist team measuring and modelling noise around RAF air bases.
