I am a teaching assistant for an undergraduate-level course in Mobile Health Sensing. My responsibilities include leading discussion sections of around 40 students along with another teaching assistant, holding weekly office hours and designing a semester-long assignment. The assignment addresses daily health sensing tasks including step detection, activity recognition, heart-rate sensing, speaker identification and location clustering.

Research assistant in Computer Science with a focus in Mobile Health Sensing and Analytics. I work in collaboration with Seattle-based Swedish Medical Center on development of a smart pill bottle cap that tracks medication adherence of HIV+ and at-risk patients using motion sensors. I previously explored the use of multi-instance learning techniques to reduce labeling efforts of gesture recognition tasks.

Tutored students in Computer Science, Mathematics and German, as an employee of the UMass Amherst Learning Resource Center.

I developed employee utility software for U.S. Aerospace and Defense Contractor L-3 Communications.
