Wrote a textbook about Magnetic Resonance Elastography. Now working on designing and implementing novel data acquisition strategies for Magnetic Resonance Elastography.

PhD candidate in physics. I currently work in the field of MR Elastography. This technique combines MR imaging and mechanical waves to measure visco-elastic properties of various organs in the human body. My work includes MR pulse sequence programming (C++), physical modelling and data processing.

Worked on post-processing of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. Obtained degree "Diplomphysiker" (equivalent of MSc in physics). Thesis title: Development of a Novel Method for B0 Inhomogeneity Suppression in MRI Field Maps Using Adapted Solid Spherical Harmonic Functions.

Worked on a software project to monitor network usage and detect failure of networking components. Side projects included network & system administration (Unix & Linux), and the development of an automated spam management system. Additional activities: - Network administration (Linux & Unix) - System administration (Linux & Unix) - Developed a spam management system to notify users about blocked e-mails.

Worked on a a noninvasive technique, based on Magnetic Resonance (MR) Elastography, to detect changes of hydrostatic tissue pressure in the human body. The work included development of MR data acquisition methods, physical modelling of porous biological tissue, and data evaluation.
