Designed the new end-effector fingers of our robot's manipulator to accomplish the various switch manipulation tasks of the European Rover Challenge 2025. The most interesting part has been the realization of a a novel tactile capability to detect successfull switching cost-effectively for which I integrated force sensors into the fingers and implemented the software-side signal processing.

I used Matlab and DSpace hardware to test and analyze the measurement accuracy of GMR-type position encoders and to further develop software-based solutions to improve it.

I assisted students of the dynamics class (TM3) with the exercises and exam preparation

As part of the world record team I was responsible for the speed controller design and suspension upgrades and also took part in the gearbox maintenance. We were able to set a new record for the longest distance driven by a non-solar electric car on a single battery charge with our car Muc022 that we had designed and built in the previous season.

I designed various suspension components using CATIA V5, performed design calculations using Matlab, stress analysis and topology optimization using Altair Inspire, created manufacturing drawings and BOMs and oversaw the manufacturing of my components. As technical lead, I oversaw the development of the whole suspension system and took part in its assembly and testing.
