Über mich
As a researcher I've been at the Institute for Safety and Risk Sciences (ISR) since 2015. Initially, I oversaw the ISR laboratory, focusing on ice formation on wind turbine blades. My role included setup, maintenance, and enhancement of experimental setups. In the realm of wind turbine icing I played a key role in projects developing experimental setups for studying ice shedding from both large and small wind turbines. Data from these efforts supported Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, which I also explored in my Bachelor's thesis. Since 2019, my research expanded into EU projects involving nanoparticle, microplastic, and nanoplastic risks. I developed sustainable assessment tools and conducted evaluations of emerging technologies via multi-criteria analyses. I'm deeply committed to advancing sustainability and view my work as contributing to eco-friendly technology adoption.
