As part of the Technology and Innovation board area, I am part of a freshly structured department that plans, builds and runs the international network infrastructure & services that connect DT to the world and the world to DT. My focal area is network production development where I will define the end-to-end architectures of intercarrier services and focus on technical business development as well as new innovative products.

I led the the engineering team (10 people) at immmr. My responsibilities were NT/IT architecture, integration into Telecoms partner networks (feasibility, design, technical delivery - integration), evolution of technical platform (technical PoCs, exposure, WebRTC, etc.), multi ecosystem SDK design and development, complex data modelling, CouchDB deployment and operation, CI/CD process creation and execution, audio/video media handling on multiple stacks.

I remained involved in a few innovative projects at Slovak Telekom for a small portion of my spare time. Together with the local team we were innovating on the edge and drove the Telecom's changed paradigms forward.

I joined immmr GmbH in Q1/2016 and was initially responsible for all network design & architecture aspects. With my previous knowledge around the convergence of Telco and Web I contributed to 'all-things telecom' and was involved in communication protocols, network design, and service/platform integration. I led technical root cause analysis for immmr's customer facing teams and supported the Sales team towards Deutsche Telekom’s national companies.

Previous topics of core Telco service evolution & Telco/Web convergence were extended with responsibilities around the future of legacy services. I was involved in projects that are tangent to Web based communications/WebRTC. Various proof of concepts were actively developed by me (from purely web based applications to converged services integrated with core network technologies). I continued to advocate off-mainstream approaches & alternative architecture strategies to better meet actual market needs.

I extended my previous focal points on Telco service evolution & convergence with web architectures. I worked on a variety of projects covering a wide scope (communications, content, applications, platforms). I am also coordinating the activities around WebRTC and established competence in this area far beyond “browser telephony”. I have been the technical manager for Joyn by Jibe Mobile (RCS 5.1 based communications). The service has been launched in market in June 2014.

I participated in the architecture and design for the core & control IMS based platform of Slovak Telekom and in the extension of the open- and closed-source based VoIP platforms. I was supporting the migration of legacy platforms towards IP based communications enabler. I had a strong focus on service evolution and convergence. I actively contributed towards innovations in regard to how Telco's can co-exist with over-the-top service providers and mutually benefit.

I have been working in the application architecture and design team responsible for the VoIP platforms of Slovak Telekom. In 2010, I co-lead the technical design of the IMS platform. I have been involved in web service integration, new service creation and implementation, and supervised several student projects within the company.

I have been working in the application architecture and design team. I was responsible for the introduction of an open-source based VoIP platform and the migration of the customers towards it. I did several PoC implementations in regard to the presence service (SIP and XMPP based).

Theoretical analysis of the presence management service in Next-Generation Networks (NGN). Special focus was on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based presence service. After conducting a theoretical study, I implemented a Proof of Concept (PoC) using open-source software. I extended it with a PHP based user front-end that has been integrated with an XCAP server.

I did research & publications on "Next-Generation Identity Management (IdM) to Enable Converged, Personalized Services". After finishing all exams and successful defense of my midterm thesis I've voluntarily withdrawn to focus fully on my professional career in Telecom innovation development.

ERASMUS semester at STU Bratislava, worked with the NGN group on services in NGN/IMS (esp. , research in the area of Presence Services). Exchange of information within and support of the development of the NGN group.
