Evaluation of incoming projects, support, organization and/or conduction of studies on the client behalf, proposition of ideas and business partners.

-Management of the drug discovery process of novel anti-infectives from Target Selection to Clinical Candidate. -Management of a staff of up to 70 scientists in Chemistry, Structural Sciences, Biology, and microbiology in two research sites, Switzerland and Denmark. -Management of an overall budget of a few millions euros. -Management of the IP portfolio. -Responsibility over the scientific publication strategy -Part of the Executive Management Board. -Part of the Board of Directors of Arpida A/S

-Set up and management of a multi-disciplinary group of scientists including chemistry, analytics and Biology. -Set up and management of a drug discovery process able to support the development of the ‘protein epitope’ concept within a business model which contemplated the application of the ‘protein epitope’ concept to several therapeutic areas (e.g., anti-infective, anticancer, anti-inflammatory). -Management of the IP portfolio of the PEM Unit -Part of the Excecutive Management Board.

-Management of a group of up to 25 Ph.D.s in Medicinal Chemistry (novel anti-bacterials) and Combinatorial Chemistry.

-Coordinator of a group of Medicinal and Computational Chemists in the discovery on novel anti-infectives -Natural product chemistry -Parallel and combinatorial chemistry
