Shaheer Asghar Awan

My role is to develop web apps, fix bugs and add features to multiple websites and dashboard web apps. I mainly worked on the frontend side. However, I also switched to full stack role, depending on task requirements. My tech stack is mainly Angular 9, Angular 15 (Typescript) and JavaScript.

I currently work as a Full Stack Software developer at Deutsche Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung (DZHW). Using Angular in the frontend and Python at the backend, I developed a data analytics dashboard tool for the HEADS project. The dashboard analyses and visualizes the educational data of different German universities and generates reports.

I developed a low budget Visual Inspection system using Artificial intelligence algorithms for aluminium bars at L3S Hannover. My job was to develop a deep learning based object detection system for a low powered device Raspberry Pi. After successful development, the system was deployed at “mit uns digital” Hannover Messe. This A.I based system was also presented to multiple German universities in Hannover Messe.

I worked as an IT architect for deploying and managing the machine learning based chatbot in the company's private cloud. I also developed data analytics and predictive system using machine learning models in python.

I worked as full stack developer at Calimbuddy.de. I developed a chatbot for a health insurance company. The chabot was developed in Python using NLP and Machine Learning techniques. I also developed an automatic pdf form filling Java application. The app automatically filled the form using user’s chat and mail it to the user. I also deployed both apps on AWS and Google cloud services. At Claimbuddy, I worked on both backend and frontend technologies.

I worked as a Data Mining tutor/teaching assistant at Leibniz University Hannover. My job was to solve and teach the assignments to the students. I also had to develop the Data Mining algorithms in Python (data preprocessing, model implementation and evaluation) and teach them during the tutorial lectures. I delivered 12 lectures, each 1.5 hrs long. It was exciting experience, as I worked with one of the top data mining Professors in the University.

I worked as a android developer for Smartlab, an IoT lab in Leibniz University Hannover. I developed several android applications for smart glasses and mobile devices in Java.
