Sherif Abu El-Wafa

- Responsible for improving and extending the functionality of ViSSee’s innovative Visual Sensors (speed, motion detection). - Worked on analyzing and implementing image processing algorithms, in addition to applying parallel computing approaches using GPGPU. - Involved in the product’s full development cycle that includes product prototyping, system testing, data analysis and technical writing.

- Involved in enhancing, designing and developing iOS applications that embrace some augmented reality applications. - Worked on testing and maintaining the applications as well.

- Led the after-sales team of HTC Alexandria branch (i.e. 2 engineers and 2 customer care representatives) and managed it with an efficient service operation that befitting the brand image and ensures customer satisfaction. - Trained and mentored 2 junior engineers in the maintenance team.

- Diagnose HTC smart-phones hardware and software issues and resolve them through L.1, L.2, and L.2.5 repair levels.

- Degree awarded by Università della Svizzera Italiana in collaboration with ETH Zurich and Politecnico di Milano. - Thesis: “Scheduling of Energy Consumption in Smart Grids to Improve Reliability”

- Graduation project: “Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) with Applications”
