Vision Supply Chain 2010 is a multi-year strategy to transform Loblaw Companies Limited Supply Chain fundamentals. The team will take the company towards one nationally, centrally managed Supply Chain. This exciting initiative concentrates on accelerating flows to deliver the customer the freshest products focusing on improved inventory management capabilities, planning, forecasting and replenishment at optimized cost.

Assemble KPM data, analyze performance, identify gaps and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly scorecards to ensure visibility of key performance drivers of sales-operation and traffic cost centres. Organize and moderate conference calls with business unit leaders (BULs) to develop actionable recommendations. Develop action plans to cover the gaps and to mitigate risks so as to ensure that the cost centres meets the monthly, quarterly, and annual plan.

Identified new potential markets for GRE and TOEFL training, developed course material and ran a marketing campaign which resulted in annual revenue increase by more than 50%. Coordinated open house events in schools for promotion of SAT training program which resulted in increase in enquiries by 100% and revenues by 40%. Designed and executed internet search-engine-optimization (SEO) based marketing plan, thereby reducing cost of promotions by 65%. Initiated interactive online customer interactions.

Supervised production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Worked with a team of more than 40 workers, coordinated Quality Control, supervised labour deployment and managed material flow, machine allocation, and machine maintenance on the shop floor. Led the implementation of CEO's knowledge promotion cell and coached shop-floor technicians. Became the first trainee (out of 15 selected nationally) to take independent charge of the production shift.
