During a one-year sabbatical from university work, I gained practical insights and experience to complement my academic sustainability expertise through industrial placements at three different companies. In my final placement at NorDan, I supported the sustainability team in various matters, mainly around sustainability reporting, corporate policies (e.g. diversity & inclusion, code of conduct), carbon emissions and accounting, and in a circular economy project on recycling and revalorisation.

During a one-year sabbatical from university work, I gained practical insights and experience to complement my academic sustainability expertise through industrial placements at three different companies. At Moog, I worked on a project around physical climate risk assessment and did some work on scope 3 emissions and double materiality assessment as well as getting to know the team's work more generally, contributing in various ways.

During a year-long sabbatical, I complemented my academic expertise sustainability with industrial experience. At Shell Germany (Deutsche Shell Holding), I worked on a project around sustainability enquiries, requests from customers for sustainability data and platforms, and contributed to an FAQ database and internal sustainability network. This involved working across corporate functions. Formally based in corporate governance, I worked closely with controlling/finance and energy transition colleagues.
