• Research, analyze and synthesize government policies of German-speaking countries and cities • Implement the external liaison with international agencies and partners in the co-organization of international conferences, seminars, workshops and sports events • Establish, maintain and promote public relations of the City of Nanjing with European cities by organizing and coordinating government, business and culture exchange activities

As one of a five-member team for a development consultancy project commissioned by LSE and UNESCAP, • Collected, cleaned and analyzed data of 27 ESCAP sample countries to propose a multidimensional index measuring the digital divide in the Asia-Pacific Region • Analyzed and compared 2 dimensional and 6 sub-dimensional ranking results • Drafted 2000 words in the final 10000-words report with a focus on policies and strategies of selected governments in different income groups

• Conducted research, analyzed information and delivered reports and articles on international political affairs • Drafted briefings notes, prepared background information and talking points and interpreted for intergovernmental conversations, workshops and field trips • Collected, synthesized materials and assisted the draft of the China-Africa Cooperation Beijing Action Plan • Co-organized the ministerial consultation of the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum of China-Africa Cooperation

• Implemented, monitored and evaluated a capacity-building personnel exchange program for six German and six Chinese cultural managers in Germany and China • Coordinated and promoted the cooperation and partnership of the institute with different stakeholders involving program organizers, sponsors, traineeship hosts (including theaters, film festivals, classic music associations and galleries) in Berlin, Hamburg, Beijing and Shanghai

Maintained Chinese Germany-Alumni network by organizing, coordinating and hosting networking activities, e.g. organized and hosted a two-hour career talk for around 100 alumni, planned a field trip of around 20 alumni to Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation Beijing • Promoted and maintained public relations of the institute with different stakeholders such as Chinese media, German enterprises and organizations • Reported on alumni events and translated for the monthly alumni magazine

• Monitored visa application process of Chinese applicants, conducted visa-related clerical issues for visa officers involving document screening and translation, interview interpretation and information input • Independently conducted personal and telephone interview and investigated background information of visa applicants in accordance with Schengen and German visa policy • Assists in the organization of Embassy events including state visits of German leadership, cultural activities
