The study utilized QGIS and R programming tools for processing and analyzing large datasets, as well as the D-Hydro Flow FM model for developing flash flood models - Assessed the reliability of global satellite precipitation datasets in data-scarce regions. - Developed flash flood hazard maps for extreme rainfall conditions. - Investigated the efficiency of different measures to mitigate the hazard.

- Assessed groundwater resources and identified data gaps through field investigations and data analysis. - Developed a flow model (FREEWAT) to understand aquifer behavior in different scenarios. - Identified suitable recharge locations in upland formations based on hydrogeological criteria. - Developed a conceptual model to reflect the aquifer geology of the Gunderu sub-basin using Visual MODFLOW Flex.
