In the role of "Head of SAP HANA & Persistency", I am leading a global organization and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our database, data processing, and persistency technology assets, including SAP HANA and SAP HANA Cloud. I am honored to be responsible for such a diverse and talented team of over 1,500 engineering members that is at the forefront of technology. Appointment to Distinguished Engineer (Development Executive Expert) amongst the first few members at SAP reaching that role. Member of the SAP CTO Circle as Technical lead for data management. Member of the SAP CTO Circle Decision Board.

Chief Development Architect for the SAP HANA Platform and Database dealing with various aspects around programing models, infrastructures, development and domain specific languages, engines, Relational and NoSQL & Tools. Shaping the SAP HANA Platform and Database strategy. Member of the SAP CTO Circle as Technical lead for data management. The CTO Circle provides guidance and direction on how and where to apply SAP's technology strategy. Member of the SAP CTO Circle Decision Board.
