Stabilized a 30-year ERP engineering workflow by introducing Git, local development environments, installer automation, and clearer separation between development, testing, and release across Visual Basic 6, C#, and Caché systems. Rolled out Jira Cloud with traceable delivery flow and clearer request routing, rebuilt a failing BI pipeline with indexed SQL Views on live ERP data, and delivered secure integrations for webshop, field-service, and warehouse workflows while leading the development team hands-on.

Developed mobile applications and utilities for the Nokia Symbian platform using C++ and Qt.

Rebuilt the company’s flagship spectrum-analyzer software from fragile Windows-only code into a modular cross-platform Qt and C++ application. Helped establish the internal software team, introduced cleaner architecture, documentation, and version control, and built device-facing tooling around FTDI communication, visualization, and hardware-linked measurement workflows.

Built an online catalogue website and a companion C++ Windows application for a furniture manufacturer and retailer, and maintained Windows workstations and Linux servers for a video editing company.

Developed payment and inventory systems in C#/.NET, improved MySQL and SQL Server performance, and managed Linux-based infrastructure including Apache, Exim4, and VPN access. Combined application development with hands-on system administration.

Turned a research-grade forestry method from isolated scripts into a deployable Windows desktop application with import pipelines, project persistence, export capability, and OpenGL visualization. Defined clean interfaces between mathematicians and software implementation and helped translate specialist research logic into maintainable software.

Software development training focused on Java and Lotus Notes and contributed early components while building foundational engineering practice.
