Cardiovascular Research I am in the final year of my PhD program (2018-2020) in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology at the Paris Cardiovascular Research Centre PARCC/ INSERM (Degree conferred by Université de Paris) and will be defending my thesis in December 2020. Thesis Title: The role of extracellular vesicles in the context of cardiovascular disease and diabetes and their non-coding RNA content.

I was recruited to establish and maintain large animal cardiac injury models. Here, I was mostly performing heart surgeries in a sterile setting - heart failure models (Heart Failure Reduced Ejection a Fraction and Heart Failure Preserved Ejection Fraction) in porcine models. I was also given the opportunity to partake in project management, process improvement, finance and procurement. I was also involved in clinical research studies where I utilised communication skills to recruit participants.

While being employed with NUS in Singapore, participated in Large animal (porcine) surgery training in a sterile setting

Thyroid Disease Research I was managing a project investigating thyroid disease, specifically Grave's Ophthalmopathy, mainly performing wet-lab experiments involving cell culture, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy.
