I was responsible for updating the company's financial statements and conducting internal audit on the accounts to investigate any costs. I was also the point of contact for the Board of Director's SSAS Pension Fund, where I would keep track of returns and report on the growth of the investments. I also trained new placement students on the duties of being an assistant management accountant and finance assistant.

My one-year internship at Hotel Arts Barcelona afforded me the opportunity to work in a global setting with people of different cultures. On top of my accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, I was involved in the internal audit of the hotel, where I was responsible for assessing the success of the postmerger integration between Marriott and Starwood hotels, analysing employees’ acceptance of changes, and presenting feedback and possible solutions to the internal auditor and the finance director.

During my first year working at EASL as a Finance Assistant, I was responsible for making month-end journal entries and preparing the forecast annual statements and the end-of-year financial statements. I returned in July 2018 to work as a Temporary Management Accountant for the summer before returning to university to complete my final year. Here I was also responsible of monitoring the Board of Directors' SASS Pension Fund and training new interns in the roles of assistant financial accountant.

During my time at college, I completed a six-week internship at ITV plc, a major broadcasting company in the UK whose main competitor is the BBC. Here I worked as an assistant production accountant for the famous UK soap opera, Coronation Street. During my days working off the set, I was also responsible of updating the statutory accounts of some of ITV's subsidiaries.
