Subramanya Nanjangud Gurumurthy

Being a Graduate Engineering Trainee, my expertise used to lie in fixture designing and I was responsible for design of unique solutions on fixtures, relating to the customer's requirements, based on machining difficulties of components. During my tenure at UCAM, I have learnt & improvised many professional skills within which Product design, CAD, GD&T, DFMA, manufacturing methods were prominent.

As an Intern mechanical engineer, I studied all the design parameters of different modules of Electro hydraulic system's packaging of Airbus A380 aircraft and prepared a report which further helps to come up with a better model.

Gained the practical experience through industrial training program at Helicopter division, Hindustan aeronautics limited, to get the industrial exposure. During the training program, I was assigned to all the departments such as machine shop, process engineering, blade shop, transmission assembly, paint shop, heat treatment shop, final assembly unit. At the end of the training, all the trainees were given certificates on the basis of the report submitted as well as the performance in the viva.
