Research Scientist
Evolva SA
In Evolve, we aim to improve health, wellness and nutrition in a sustainable way. By combining modern genetics with traditional brewing, we take baker’s yeast and give it the same ability to make natural ingredients as the original organism such as plants. My key tasks are: - Planning, design and implementation of genome engineering of yeast production strains - Establishing new techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 for strain engineering - Data management and documentation in LIMS

Staff Scientist
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (CfB), DTU
I am part of the iLoop of the The CfB at DTU. The iLoop is a core facility that produces new engineered strains, and consists of an iterative cycle of Strain Design, Genome Engineering (GE), Screening + Fermentation, and Modeling units. In the Yeast GE group, we provide a standardized cloning platform, which is in the process of being automatized. Our aim is to create stable industrial strains by high throughput and efficient molecular cloning, as well as high throughput and efficient strain construction.

Post doc in Ian Hickson's group at the Center of Healthy Ageing
Center of Healthy Ageing, ICMM, University of Copenhagen
As a Post Doc I have been working on a project that investigates the role of BLM protein in the choice of DNA repair pathway in mammalian cells, and on a project in budding yeast analyzing an inducible site-specific DNA replication blockage.

Post doc in Michael Lisby's group at the Department of Biology
Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen
As a Post doc in Michael Lisby's lab, my project was to characterize Dpb11 anaphase bridges in budding yeast by life cell imaging, and to investigate whether there is a connection between these anaphase bridges and ultra-fine bridges (UFBs) in mammalian cells, which are crucial for maintaining genomic stability.
