• Global IT business relationship & demand management for key Chemicals business units and functions (1.7 billion Euro sales in 2012) • Consulting of key customers (especially top management) on all IT relevant topics on a global level and mgmt. of a business consultants team • Definition of the IT strategy, service and project portfolio and ensuring of portfolio delivery (5 million Euro budget responsibility) • Acting as program manager (e.g. 2 million Euro budget, team of 30 internal & external experts)

• Leading of complex, cross-functional, international projects focusing on IT and business consulting as well as IT implementation • Analysis and optimization/redesign of business processes across the Chemicals value chain • Analysis and design of business application landscapes and IT architecture for several business areas • Realization of user requirements analysis, profitability and feasibility studies as well as IT system and vendor selections

Process & system harmonization (SAP PP, QM) for the Liquid Crystal production at the Asian production sites (e.g. creation of the process standard documentation for Supply Chain Mgmt., Manufacturing, and Quality Control)

• Management of IT system selection projects for overall equipment effectiveness and manufacturing execution for production worldwide • Consulting on IT system introductions for portfolio management for drug development projects and global pharmacovigilance in Japan

Planning of journal content, review articles, perform interviews
