Leading the Process Research and Development team at a custom manufacture site responsible for the development and validation of processes for the cGMP manufacture of advanced intermediates and API’s for the pharmaceutical industry, involving route selection activities, process optimisation and critical parameter determination of complex multi-step organic syntheses, hazard evaluation, GMP manufacture at laboratory scale and technical support for pilot plant and plant scale-up.

Design, development, optimisation and validation of chemical syntheses and processes in custom synthesis projects for GMP manufacture, ensuring process safety, robustness and cost efficiency.
