Provide communications, marketing, data analysis, graphic design, and related services to umbrella organization of 13 Villages focused on supporting people age in place in the District of Columbia.

Provide communications and marketing support to strengthen HAP in supporting Hyattsville seniors and combating social isolation. Led outreach to elected officials, faith and civic leaders, and other community influencers in Hyattsville and surrounding municipalities and unincorporated areas as part of grant-funded senior support and aid efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Directed and oversaw member and public communications for a 501(c)(6) trade association. Co-led industry marketing and branding efforts, including market research activities, content development and deployment. Provided communications and editorial expertise to support association programs and activities, including engineering, health and safety, legislative, workforce development, education, and meetings.

Oversaw 14-person editorial department. Managed staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning for 12 market-leading B2B broadcast publications with worldwide reach, including TV Technology, Radio World, and NAB Show Daily News. Shaped transition of newsroom from print-only to multiplatform distribution, including crafting online and social media strategies. Assisted in navigating ownership transition from IMAS Publishing to NewBay Media in July 2007.

Set overall editorial direction for Radio World International and Radio World édition francophone. Managed multinational base of freelance writers, contributors, translators, and editors. Oversaw the newspaper production process, including art selection, issue design, headline and caption writing, layout and proofreading, as well as worked with sales, circulation, and other departments. Started as associate editor in 1993, named managing editor in 1995, editor in 1997, and editor in chief in 1998.

Wrote membership correspondence, articles for membership magazine, editorials for national publication, fact sheets, and additional materials for 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
