SARS-CoV-2 Test My responsibilities comprise working in a BLS-2 laboratory. My tasks for the test Center started with the registry of incoming samples, their preparation for the testing. Now, I lead a small team of 5 to 10 people assigned to the lysis of samples as well as the extraction of the viral DNA in high through-put settings. Next to the laboratory work, I was part of the process development and optimization of the COVID-19 test Center.

After attending iGEM, students are able to design a synthetic biological project (question, hypothesis, design), perform basic laboratory work and analyze the results.
