I'm currently Technical Assistance Manager (Electrochemistry, Corrosion) for Materia Nova. This feature consists of: - Execution of research & technological developments - The tasks of daily management of laboratories, - The preparation of quotations (definition of the specifications, budget and schedule), - The tests (characterization of materials, durability testing using electrochemical measurements, ...) and report writing.

6 months : Characterization of temporary protective coating (corrosion protection): - Use of electrochemical methods [electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cathodic cycles (cycles AC / DC) - Development of characterization method using electrochemical noise analysis - Comparison with conventional methods of coating analysis [Salt Spray Test (SST), SST with cross of St. André].

6 months : Electrochemical study of the relationship between metallurgical structure and corrosion resistance of alloys 8xxx. Development of methods for evaluating the surface activity by electrochemical noise. - Study of the microstructure (scanning electron microscopy, acid etching + light microscopy) - Study of the differences between alloys by electrochemical noise - Characterization of the corrosion resistance of alloys by SWAAT test

5 months - Development of a database for a neural system of prognostication of corrosion in petrochemical industry (PRINCE Xperience). - Studies of damages (visit and sampling of corroded structures). - Monitoring of accelerated corrosion tests (long-term immersion, autoclaves, using of environmental chamber) - Analysis of corroded sample (Scanning electron microscopy and optical microscopy)

4 months: Improvement of the physicochemical properties of heating fuel (old and new generation) by the addition of additives, and control of pollution producted by combustion.
