Deal sourcing from Chinese developers & fundraising from real estate investors to acquire/develop/manage Chinese office & mixed use property. By 2011 Kailong invested over US$ 1 billion in 13 projects & exited 9 of them after upgrading. => Successfully sourced US$ 43 mio Kailong Nanhui Business Park.

2005-2009 Responsible for providing mortgage loans to top 15 Chinese national developers & international investors/funds with a team of 4 + 3 in Underwriting. Task involved extensive traveling in China, analysis of 75-95 proposals p.a., networking & negotiations in Chinese. => 23 projects in 15 locations in China. Transaction volume: US$ 1.6 bn.

2004-2005 Responsible for establishing a branch structure in the newly open¬ed office, structuring offshore non-recourse medium term US$-develop-ment-loans to Chinese developers; tasks included project risk analysis, inspection of sites, feasibility studies, cashflow-projections, preparation of credit applications to Head Office, loan documentation & progress monitoring & all aspects of office management (12 employees).

1999-2004 Product Manager & VP in central department for closed end fund products. HVB was the largest provider of closed end funds at that time. => Responsible for 19 of 26 products (13 Real Estate, 4 ships, 2 specialty), => 17m € fee income (75% of bank's total). 1997-98 appointments a) Global Project Finance Dept. (telecommunications, energy, environment); b) Account Manager for upscale corporate customers in Baden Württemberg.

First Far-Eastern venture of the world's leading stainless steel scrap processor ELG Haniel. Responsible for US$12 Mio. creditline, negotiations with banks, auditors, lawyers & insurance companies, handling of all financial aspects of international purchasing & sales of stainless steel scrap to mills in Taiwan, Korea & Japan, internal reporting and administration & local personnel (17 employees).

Repeated appts. as interpreter/responsible person for delegations from twin-city Shanghai.

Employed to become chief representative of the international steel trading house NCCC in Asia, trained in trading and export settlement, day-to-day marketing, sales and purchasing of steel worldwide, all modes of documentary payment and shipment of goods.
