As a engineering manager by Opitz Consulting I am responsible for the building and coaching of the consultant team for region Berlin. Hiring the best people, coaching, mentoring and enabling them to be able to perform in every customer project is my daily business. In my role I had up to more than thirty direct reporting specialists in a cross-functional team, containing high performance full-stack engineers, business analysts, project leads and agile coaches.

Management of internal projects related to the credit risk systems. Design and development of software components, database interfaces and data models. Validation of models and parameters. Communication with the external and internal auditors (ECB, Bundesbank, BaFin, Revision department).

Quantitative pricing of structured financial products and derivative securities. Design and Implementation of the architecture of the pricing platform for the Front Office. Integration of financial models and pricing algorithms in the enterprise platform of the LBB. Project leading for development and integration of software tools for the optimization of intern processes.

Design and development of enterprise software products. Software Integration and Deployment. Organization and optimization of the agile software development process.

Extreme Blue Project: Green IT. Design and Implementation of a Software prototype for the energy performance improvement in a heterogeneous server center landscape.

Project for modelling and implementation of an application for the optimization of an intern business process. The application is based on Java Enterprise Edition and was implemented with the WebShere Business Process Developer and integrated in the WebShpere Portal Server.
