The loadmaster performs the calculations and plans cargo and passenger placement to keep the aircraft within permissible center of gravity limits throughout the flight. Loadmasters ensure cargo is placed on the aircraft in such a way as to prevent overloading sensitive sections of the airframe and cargo floor. The loadmaster may physically load the aircraft, but primarily supervises loading crews and procedures.

- Evaluation, risk assessment and selection of Handling Agents for new destinations or change of suppliers in coordination with ACG Departments (Aircrafthandling, Sales, Security, Quality etc.) under consideration of quality, security and economic aspects.- Execution of analyses in the area of Ground-and Cargohandling and further development of procedures as well as technical requirements for Ground- and Cargohandling to continuously improve the quality and operating efficiency.
