Focusing on industrial decarbonisation and resource efficiency (Kreislaufwirtschaft). I develop evidence-based policy advice and strategy planning to Government with my team. This includes mapping data needs and availability, understanding and communicating potential interventions, as well as managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Specialist knowledge of industrial symbiosis, chemical industry decarbonisation policy, as well as research commissioning and contract management.

Developed advice to the Director for Services and Digital Trade, including on evolving the UK strategic approach to trade negotiations (including innovative trade instruments), multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations and supporting UK fintech.

UK’s most sought after graduate scheme, rotating in year-long postings around the civil service. I finished the scheme and was promoted out faster than average.

Within a specialist HR unit called the Policy Profession Unit. Ensured effective management of senior level board meetings and strategy development.

Advising Ministers and working across Departments to develop options to make ships more environmentally friendly. Focus on fuel switching, emissions trading systems and port decarbonisation options. Engaging with and monitoring EU policy developments.

One of UK’s biggest retail banking institutions. I led the delivery of a grant making fund focusing on community impact and housing innovation. I overhauled internal due diligence processes for payments to ensure funds reached the right place. I pitched for a series of waste reduction proposals. Resulted in our group winning £££k to take proposals forward and a company award at the annual awards retreat for top performers.
