To help Tompkins retail, consumer products, and food and beverage clients meet their supply chain and organizational goals.

Operational and strategic responsibility for all Logistics operations at HBC including 8 regional distribution centers, 2 cross-dock operations, in house and external fleets, home delivery operations, customer service center and an import office.

• Established the national strategic logistics plan that provided significant cost savings through improved processes and better integration within the supply chain. • Completed the due diligence, developed the business case and obtained board approval for an automation strategy that included the first fully automated grocery warehouse in Canada

• Responsible for Consumer Contract Logistics operations in Canada. Role included operational, client relationship, business development, and transportation management. • Clients included P&G, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Hershey’s, Smuckers, Hilroy Paper and United Rentals.

• Operational leader that set up the distribution network for Wal-Mart Canada. • Project and operational manager for the design, construction and start up of a new perishable facility in Milton, ON to service Oshawa Foods. • Designed and set up GM/HABA warehouse in Calgary, AB to service all Safeway stores in Canada. • Subject matter expert and consultant for the start up of the Wal-Mart distribution center in Kempen, Germany. • Acquired EFL transport, a pooler operation based in Hayward, CA.
