As Course Manager in Visual Arts, I managed a team of 3 lecturers and 2 support staff. I monitored the delivery, attendance & success of 3 programmes and over 250 students. I developed, maintained and updated relevant internal records to monitor and improve the performance of the department, while course leading and delivering 23 hours of teaching on the A Level Graphic Design and the A level Fine Art programmes.

As the Assistant to the Curriculum Leader, I currently manage a team of 3 lecturers and 1 support staff. I monitor the delivery, attendance & success of 4 art programmes and 183 students. I develop, maintain and update relevant internal records to monitor and improve the performance of the department, while course leading and delivering 22.5 hours of teaching on the A Level Photography and the A level Fine Art programmes. I organise outer-curricular opportunities for my students.

As Curriculum Leader, I managed a team of 7 lecturers and 2 support staff. I monitored the delivery, attendance & success of 10 programmes and 335 students. I developed, maintained and updated relevant internal records to monitor and improve the performance of the department, while course leading and delivering 20 hours of teaching on the A Level Photography and the A level Fine Art programmes.

As Lecturer with Additional Leadership & Management Responsibilities for the department of Graphic Design & Photography at BMetC I managed a team of 8 lecturers and 2 support staff. As the lead internal verifier for both departments, I monitored the success of 9 programmes & 15 different groups at level 1 – 4. I delivered 16 hours of teaching weekly, while being the course leader and personal tutor for the HND L4 Art & Design, the NVQ L3 in Art & Design & the UAL ExDip in Art & Design.

My job role included lesson planning, delivery and assessment of practical & theoretical course. I have been teaching graphic design, visual communication, illustration, printmaking, contextual studies and fine art to students on the L3 UAL Art & Design, L2 & L3 BTEC Diploma in Art & Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Media and Fashion, A Level in Graphic Communication, NVQ L3 apprenticeship in Art & Design and L4/5 HND in Interactive and Visual Design.

For three days a week I was working as a visiting lecturer on the visual communication pathway of the Foundation Diploma in Art & Design.

For one afternoon a week I was working on a voluntary basis with small groups of elderly learners on how to use digital cameras and how to process and enhance the pictures digitally afterwards.

As part of the research team for colour in the healthcare environment, I was organising and facilitating several research activities, which established suitable colours to be used in the long-term healthcare environment. As an assistant to the research fellow I was entering research data, I created visual representations of the research outcomes and worked on the layout and presentation of the final published document.

For one day a week I was teaching illustration, story-boarding and hand-made bookmaking as a visiting lecturer to a group of students on the BA in Visual Communication.

My second employment at the company; I was working as Interior Decorator at Johnson Controls in Burscheid /Germany, where I upholstered prototype car seats for crash tests. Next to other models, I upholstered car seats for the Mercedes Maybach, the new Rover Mini and the Porsche Cayenne.

My first employment at the company; During term break I upholstered prototype car seats for crash tests.

As part of my Alternative Service, In lieu of military service, I was working in the creative department of the workplace. Where the handicapped employees of the organisation would spend one morning or afternoon each week learning how to cook, play games or handicrafts.

As an apprentice in Interior Decoration I was installing window drapes and decorations, as well as sun protections in costumers homes. In the companies workshop I upholstered furniture and sew cushions and curtains.
