My responsibilites at NAVTEQ involve defining and prioritising new country launches and new map related products across the EMEA Emerging Markets region. Central & Eastern Europe, Russia/CIS, Middle East and the African countries.

Overall responsible for initiating new innovative location based services within NAVIGON and the long term strategy behind it. Setting up marketing/sales strategies and managing a mix team of (Technical) Product Managers to ensure the product launches are on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Within TomTom I worked with much passion on launching new content & services. The position was a great match with my background and expertise. And it brought Content & Services on the PND to a whole new level.

For 8 years worked for ARS Traffic & Transport Technology in The Hague, in the last years in the position of Project Manager and ITS consultant. I managed the development teams in the Netherlands and in India. Gained experience and expertise in the traffic and transport technology sector. (Automotive, Rail and Marine). Working on several National Traffic Information Systems, Tracking & Tracing Systems and other automotive/ITS/navigation related systems.

Worked at ARS Traffic & Transport Technology in The Hague as software developer and designer of in-car systems, websites and traffic information systems.
