Transferred to SIN to optimize processes and structure across APAC, managing a team of 5 in-house and outsourced accountants. Closely worked with all departments to optimize efficient resources, ensure legal and financial viability and advise on processes and impacts. Optimized processes resulting in fewer errors, quicker turn-around (~50%) and savings of ~SGD 50,000 per year. Developed a pricing model that enables the BD team to generate scenarios and more detailed forecasts to maximise contract values.

While initially the role covered the generation of production reports and basic financial analysis, I transformed it to provide more ad-hoc profitability, impact analysis and intelligence for management. Reviewing processes to optimise efficiency and transparency was also added to the role. Proposed the concept, developed the requirements and lead the setup of a central SQL/Shareworks database for contract data and documents. Constructed more accurate templates to run profitability analysis for management.

Participated in creating and building a start-up consulting company offering Hotel Asset and Performance Management, Development and Management services to owners. Learned about the challenges and opportunities of start-ups and the basic concepts of asset management and development. Coordination of the asset management of a €20 million renovation of a 5* hotel in Vienna, Austria; streamlined reports and analysis for budget meetings and negotiations with the operator resulted in higher returns to the owner.

Entry level position in Asset Management for Hotel Real Estate owners primarily in Central and Eastern Europe. Conducted desk and field research, prepared analysis and project reports as well as supported project coordination and communication. Coordination of sales activities in Central & Eastern Europe to expand client base.
