Dr. Tomas Nicak

Tomas has been working in fracture mechanics and structural integrity issues for 18 years. He has been heavily involved in national and international R&D projects specifically looking at the ductile and ductile to brittle fracture problems. At Framatome he is advising a team working on numerical fracture mechanics and structural integrity problems within the group Materials Technology & Fracture Mechanics. Moreover he is responsible for training of students and young professionals in his field.
