Working in a team of IT professionals with the task of maintaining and developing the banking group's anti-money laundering systems, my focus is on customer due diligence, quality assurance, change request management, and process documentation.

As a side business driven by entrepreneurial curiosity, I created and launched an iPhone application that elegantly captures a voice memo and automatically delivers it to the user's mailbox. Despite being relatively successful in its niche market (logs confirm its usage until 2016), the application ultimately didn't generate enough revenue to justify further development.

Allianz develops an impressive proprietary insurance management solution, which is also being sold to other players in the industry as a SAP-like standard application in a mixed client/server and mainframe environment. As deputy responsible for the claims module, my focus was on requirements analysis and designing the business process, business logic, database, and front-end UI mock-ups and pseudo-code (to be implemented by the development department), and acceptance testing of the completed change.

Working as a Project Manager in this small CMS company, I led a team of software developers, database specialists, graphical designers, and a few external contractors. I successfully handled overall account management for several of the company's long-term customers; large Austrian organizations in the insurance, transportation, newspaper, and construction industries.

In this position, I was a technical account manager for application integration services towards the Maersk Line corporation. I was the contact person and requirements analyst responsible for a central switchboard between all of the group's internal applications, providing data interchange and application integration services across the entire group, and I coordinated and acceptance tested the implementation.

Working in a tiny specialist team, I was involved throughout a project, from analysis over design and implementation to final testing and delivery to the production environment and production support. Projects always consisted of developing data conversion solutions between incompatible types of EDI structures, and typically involved both Windows- and mainframe-based design and development.

In this position, I established a Danish subsidiary, from the ground up, of a Swedish web agency, including location scouting, furnishings, IT infrastructure, hiring, and customer acquisition. My work consisted of day-to-day operations management as well as customer procurement, project management, and web programming (HTML, ASP, JS). I had the major customer contact from beginning to end, including the Microsoft account.

As webmaster for http://www.microsoft.dk, I was responsible for keeping Microsoft's 15.000 Danish web pages up to date. As one of the 6 people constituting the original Microsoft ShowTeam, I participated in the launch of Windows 95 and a subsequent nation-wide roadshow, offering very popular hands-on seminars and presentations. Subsequently, I held uncountable product presentations and seminars all around the country about almost every MS product and technology.

My education is a hybrid of IT, economics, and organizational change. That makes me a bit of a Swiss army knife, and I've worked in software, shipping, insurance, banking... Every kind of business that uses software.
