Working part time when required. Integration with a robotics based vending machine to allow for products to be ordered via website. Once a client has ordered the items it can be collected at the vending machine who robotically picks the items and gives it to the client on a conveyor belt.

Initially I was working on bug fixes but then oversaw the rewrite of their solution into Laravel. Have been doing work on and off for Incentco over several years as required.

I registered my own company and proceeded to do contract work for various companies world wide. I wrote tailor made web based ERP solution for nationwide corporates. After foreign investment focus changed to web based applications integrating with tracking, GIS, telephony and Police/Ambulance 2-way Radio to produce Computer Aided Dispatch and Disaster Management solutions for the emergency services of South Africa.

Working from Johannesburg, South Africa it started off as a small team developing an enterprise website (30 million hits a month) with an admin backend. Sole Developer towards the end and responsible for maintenance and website upgrades. Awards Best Website (Britain youth travel awards), 100 best travel websites (times online) Media - Daily Mail - Sky - The Times - CNN - BBC News - Telegraph - The Independent - The Guardian Gapyear was sold to Flight Center in 2009 and the South African branch was closed
