I'm leading Machine Shop serial product quality assurance, customer claim and quality problem-solving activities (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa), product and process audits (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3-6.5), scrap reporting&improvement, management of measurement&control equipments, final control. Reporting quality KPIs and activities. I'm supporting customer relations and Engineering departments in NPI and modification processes. My team consists of 3 foremen and 36 blue collars. I'm IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 internal auditor.

I was Fettling Quality Engineer and managing serial product quality assurance, customer claims, scrap tracking and improvement, quality gates (final control), subcontractor quality. I was also leading ISO/TS 16949 activities of the department. Foundry consists of 5 horizontal and 1 vertical casting lines. Approximately 400 tons/day fettling capacity. I had a team of 5 foremen and 47 blue collars. I was also responsible for Fettling Production Center ISO 14001 activities.

I was the first contact of customers for their quality problems. I was managing mainly foreign customers due to my English skills including Claas, Kone, Bomag, ZF, Linde and automotive Tier 1&2 suppliers including Valeo, Ege Fren (TOFAŞ), Paksan (Toyota). I was leading Foundry production/quality responsibles for 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa. I was preparing reports and presentations for cost of poor quality, PPM and customer claims.

I worked as Research Assistant during my post-graduate education in the project "Synthesis of M Type Strontium Hexaferrite Magnet Using Local Raw Materials" in collaboration with Arçelik A.Ş.

Dissertation Stage

I took part in project funded by Arçelik A.Ş. and TUBITAK to develop M type strontium hexaferrite magnet from local raw materials to be used in electric motor of household appliances. My subject of study was "Effect of impurities on magnetic properties of M type strontium hexaferrite (SrO.6Fe2O3) magnet synthesized using local raw materials".
